the story
When we discovered this amazing fabric, we imagined some fully bearded long haired hippie with a cigarette half out his mouth pulling the squeegee on this print. We could relate, so we had to use it! This vintage found design is a hand screen printed fabric by Cohama and the tones seem to be straight from the late 60′s. No date could be confirmed on its exact vintage, but we are certain that it has been in a fabric stockpile since at least 1983.
wallet details
The wallet’s vintage hand printed exterior colors seem influenced by the minimalist work of Frank Stella or Josef Albers. Each wallet is handmade in the USA with a hand printed exterior, 4 credit card slots, ID window slot, two hidden pockets, and twenty bucks printed in the bill slot. Full size of wallet is 8.5”x3.5” folded 4.25”x3.5” developed from a mix of durable canvas, vinyl, and nylon. Because of fabric limitations, each wallet exterior is unique and the edition is limited to only 45.
